Shortbread

Ingredients

  • 250g Plain flour

  • 75g caster sugar

  • 175g butter

Method

  1. Heat oven to 160°C – line baking tins

  2. Mix flour and sugar in a bowl

  3. rub in butter

  4. knead well to form a smooth paste

  5. Roll out gently or flatten with hands, cut using desired shape cutters

  6. Place on baking tray and bake for 20-25 mins
