Job Vacancy - Playgroup Cover/Bank Assistant

 

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated

Person, to join our experienced team.

Do you have a passion for working with young children, helping them to learn and develop, giving them their best start in life? Then this could be a great opportunity for you.

We are looking for someone to provide support covering sickness, training, and more. The position means you would ideally be able to work different shifts according to need. Providing a high level of care and support to the children in the setting [training will be provided]. This may require an element of working 1:1 with individual children.

The successful Early Years Practitioner will:

1.        Have some experience working with young children 0-5 years in an early years setting or similar.

2.        A good level of English language

3.        Willingness to learn and undertake mandatory training.

4.        Good communication skills [verbal and written] - relating well to children and adults including staff, parents/carers and other professionals

5.        Ability to work independently using own initiative.

6.        To enjoy and be able to work as a member of a team

7.        To have high expectations of themselves and others.

8.        To be passionate about providing quality childcare and want to make a difference to young people’s lives.

9.        A commitment to continuously promote a culture of safeguarding

10.   A commitment to equal opportunities, equality, diversity and inclusion

11.   A commitment to working effectively with young children and families.

12.   A friendly and flexible approach at work.

13.   Good IT skills.

14.   The right to work in the UK

 

The position offers:

-            There is the opportunity to complete further training to enhance your current knowledge and skills.

-            Free parking

-            Working term time only. 38 weeks per year.
